Unveiling the Fox Fire Records 12 Days of Christmas Event!

As Christmas nears, Fox Fire Records is excited to share a special initiative that promises to enhance your holiday season.

We are launching the "12 Days of Christmas," starting December 14th and running through Christmas Eve, where we will digitally remaster our entire collection of already released tracks to meet top Dolby standards.

This effort not only highlights our commitment to quality but also celebrates the incredible work of our talented artists.

The Exciting Offerings: 12 Remastered Tracks per Artist

During the "12 Days of Christmas" event, each of our featured artists will release 12 remastered tracks, starting December 14th. With our goal of unveiling at least one new track daily, music lovers can expect to discover beloved songs reimagined in exceptional quality. Some days may even surprise you with multiple releases!

A Commitment to Quality: The Transition to Dolby Standards

Our remastering process is dedicated to elevating every track to Dolby standards. By enhancing the richness and depth of each song, we can ensure a listening experience that allows fans to appreciate every note fully. For instance, studies have shown that 70% of music listeners notice a significant difference in clarity and quality after audio remastering, especially with dynamic range enhancement typically found in Dolby formats.

A Future of Upgraded Albums

Our plans do not stop with the holiday event. Beginning in March 2025, Fox Fire Records will undergo a complete overhaul of our entire music catalog. We aim to create fresh album versions with updated artwork, credits, and Dolby-quality remastered tracks.

Each album will be offline for only 1-2 weeks to ensure music continues to flow to our fans. For instance, when we revamp a popular album with high demand, it will remain accessible while another album is temporarily taken down for enhancement. This strategy ensures that our listeners always have something new and exciting to enjoy.

Highlighting Talents and Artistic Quality

This remastering initiative serves more than just quality improvement; it is a proactive step toward showcasing the diverse talents in our roster. Each artist has unique sounds, and we want to make sure those sounds match the exceptional skills they possess.

For example, after remastering a track by one of our emerging artists, early feedback has shown over an 80% increase in audience engagement. This demonstrates the powerful impact of high-quality audio on listener appreciation.

Unfortunately, due to the poor condition of the Portland Studio that we inherited from the previous record label before FLOCO established Fox Fire Records, nearly all tracks recorded before December 2024 contain some level of audio distortion or background noise. This was caused by very old and damaged equipment that was too costly to replace, and a lack of talent in the sound mixing and editing department.

To address this challenge, FLOCO has launched the TIPP (Temporary Internship Partnership Program) Intern Program, assembling a skilled team of near-professional mix masters and audio engineers at no cost to FLOCO. As part of their internship, these talented individuals are tasked with re-mastering all previously released music. Meanwhile, new incoming TIPP interns (starting in January 2025) are focused on minimizing the Portland Studio’s background noise in freshly recorded tracks going forward. Fox Fire - FLOCO benefits from top-tier talent at no cost, while our TIPP Interns gain invaluable references and build impressive portfolios. This experience gives them a significant edge over freelance competitors vying for limited sound editing positions in the professional music industry.

Fox Fire Records is contractually obligated to use the Portland Studio facility until December 31, 2026. However, we’re eagerly anticipating the opportunity to move to a more modern recording facility in Central Florida once this agreement ends thus consolidating the Fox Fire - FLOCO brand into one geographic region. It is not easy or cheap to manage a coast-to-coast business footprint in this economy. Until we can free ourselves of the Portland Studio, we’re relying on the expertise and innovation of our TIPP interns to overcome these challenges without pushing FLOCO into the red. Their efforts are key to ensuring the quality of our music while we transition toward a brighter future.

A New Generation of Music Makers: FLOCO’s TIPP Intern Program

While a lot has been said of our TIPP Sound Engineer Interns, FLOCO is also expanding its scope by inviting aspiring animators to apply for the TIPP internship. This is an excellent opportunity for talented individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant music scene. FLOCO is seeking animators interested in creating animated music videos for our existing songs or collaborating on upcoming animation projects yet to be announced. The TIPP Internship program is a win-win: FLOCO benefits from temporary fresh, creative talent, while interns gain valuable experience, build their portfolios, and secure highly sought-after professional industry references—opportunities that are often difficult to attain without significant personal sacrifice.
