Monty Floyd is a passionate advocate for parental rights and child welfare, bringing a deeply personal commitment to every aspect of his work. As the Vice Chair of the Hernando County chapter of Moms for Liberty, Monty is known for his bold stance in defending the rights and well-being of children and families, embodying the role of a community protector. A devoted husband and father of four, Monty’s dedication goes beyond advocacy; his life’s work is rooted in his role as a parent and community leader.
Monty holds a Master’s degree in Human Services Administration and has been deeply engaged in Ministry and Human Services throughout his academic and professional career. As a former collegiate ice hockey goaltender, he knows the power of resilience and teamwork—qualities that shape both his advocacy and his professional pursuits. An active member of Delta Epsilon Iota and Pi Gamma Mu national honor societies, Monty’s academic dedication reflects his commitment to impactful community service and intellectual growth. He is currently preparing to begin his Ph.D. in Behavioral and Developmental Psychology, building on his dedication to understanding and supporting the development of children and families.
A champion of government accountability, Monty is unwavering in his pursuit to root out corruption, eliminate wasteful spending, and restore a limited government that aligns with the original intent of the Founding Fathers. His zeal for a free society where individuals and families thrive without unnecessary government intervention shapes his vision, both personally and professionally.
In times of crisis, Monty has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, particularly during Hurricanes Helene and Milton, when he organized and led a citizen response group. With over 26 flotillas, Monty and his team reached and assisted neighbors stranded in heavily flooded areas of Central Florida, many of whom had no government support for nearly a month. This grassroots relief effort underscored his deep commitment to his community and his belief in the power of citizen action.
Monty is also the CEO of FLOCO Holdings, where he channels his vision and dedication into building a family-run startup specializing in entertainment investments and intellectual property. Under his leadership, FLOCO has achieved remarkable growth, from chart-topping music releases to best-selling books, all while maintaining a commitment to family values, community impact, and the principles of personal freedom and responsibility.
